48pp, 12 colour plates and further black and white illustrations. Printed paper-covered boards. Lightly rubbed at corners and spine ends. Hint of spotting on endpapers, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Dust jacket has some shelf wear, chipping to edges and spine folds, short tear at spine base, price-clipped. 8vo. The Britain in Pictures series is a fascinating insight into British social history of the second world war period.
