• By buying a second-hand book you are making greater use of the materials involved in book production and avoiding using fresh precious planetary resources.
• The specialist book boxes and other packaging we use to protect your books from damage during delivery are made from recycled materials. By using bespoke book boxes for most deliveries, we reduce the overall amount of packaging required.
• Book Addiction is run from home, avoiding the environmental footprint of a high street shop.
• We follow the four Rs philosophy – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Replace – in all aspects of our business, doing our bit to be kind to our planet and preserve its riches for future generations.
