1. About Us

Book Addiction is a trading name. Registered address: 10 Nightingale Close, Chartham Hatch, Canterbury CT4 7NB. All items are used/second-hand and VAT exempt under the Margin Scheme.

2. Placing an Order

By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or have parental consent) and that the information you provide is accurate. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order.

3. Pricing

All prices are in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable. Second-hand items are VAT exempt under the VAT Margin Scheme. Prices may change without notice but changes will not affect orders already confirmed.

4. Payment

Payment is taken at the time of order via Stripe. We accept all major debit and credit cards. A small admin fee may apply to orders placed by telephone.

Important: For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for the cost of return postage. We recommend using a tracked service as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.

We describe the condition of every item as accurately as possible. Our condition grades follow industry standards. If an item is not as described, please see our returns policy.

8. Intellectual Property

All website content, design and imagery is the property of Book Addiction and may not be reproduced without permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the item(s) ordered. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
