466pp, with tissue-guarded frontispiece and numerous diagrams, arithmetical examples, examination questions and model answers. Charcoal endpapers. In red cloth boards, blind stamped on front panel, gilt lettering on spine (cloth rubbed at edges and marked, scuffed at spine ends, corners rounded). Previous owner's name on front free endpaper, and half-title, tissue-guard a little tanned, and some light marginal toning on first and last few leaves, else internally neat, clean and bright. Small bookseller's ticket on front paste down indicating that the volume was once in the stock of Spencer Booksellers on Dalton Road, Barrow in Furness. 12mo.
