Second edition (the first edition having been published in 1931, with a war time supplement in 9144). In maroon cloth-covered boards with gilt titles on spine (very slightly rubbed on corners and spine ends). Hint of toning to endpapers, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original dust wrapper (a little chipped and rubbed at edges, lightly bumped along lower edge, chipped at spine ends). A comprehensive listing and catalogue of almost 4000 models of motor cars manufactured all over the world since 1880, preceded by an informative introduction on the birth of the automobile, red flags and blue tunics etc. 8vo.
