A new edition with many additional letters, edited by Mary, Countess of Lovelace. The book was originally printed in 1905 by Lord Byron's grandson to uphold the truth that Byron had an incestuous relationship with his half-sister prior to his marriage and that it was her knowledge of this that led to his wife demanding a separation.
