1st edition, first printing. 258pp. In pale brown cloth-covered boards with metallic titles and rules. Tall 12mo. Cloth a little rounded at spine ends. Endpapers lightly tanned else internally neat, clean, bright and tight throughout. In its original dust jacket, worn with a few marks, lightly rubbed at edges with a short, closed tear at head of spine. A collection of addresses by John Buchan,1st Baron Tweedsmuir, from his time as Governor General of Canada. Buchan, a novelist, historian, Unionist politician and scholar is perhaps best remembered for The Thirty-Nine Steps.
