140pp, black and white illustrations. In cloth-covered boards with gilt titles front and spine. Illustrated endpapers 8vo. Cloth very slightly rounded at spine head, faint marks on fore-edge, internally neat, clean, bright and tight. A very good copy in its original dust jacket (slightly rubbed on edges, very slightly discoloured. A history of the village of Halling in Kent from its earliest settlement in Roman times up to the end of the 20th century, written appreciatively but a long-term resident of the village.
