1st Edition. 350pp, colour plate frontispiece, plus numerous black and white plate illustrations throughout. Green coloured cloth boards with gilt titles on the spine. 8vo. Very good condition very, light rubbing to corners, slight sun fade on top and bottom edges. Mild bumping to spine ends and with slight discolouration. Top of text block dusty, remaining edges in good clean condition. Internally, previous owner's name on front free endpaper, else neat, clean tight and bright internally. Beuatiful maps on endpapers. Dust jacket has light shelf wear, rubbing and chipping to spine. Light rubbing t corners. The dust jacket internally shows some discolouration to the fold creases and top edge. A personal story of the authors journey of 57,000 miles around the world with numerous black and white photographs.
