134pp, with many black and white photographic plates and in-text line drawn illustrations and diagrams. Quarter bound in green cloth over illustrated paper-covered boards, gilt titles on spine; illustrated endpapers. 4to. Some small spots of discoloration on cloth. Gutter a little loose in middle; but otherwise internally very neat, clean and bright. Dust jacket has some chipping at the corners and spine ends with a small closed tear in bottom right corner of front cover, shelf wear along edges and some small stains on the back cover. On increasing the numbers and diversity of trees after World War II and what tree species are appropriate for what environments.
