Vol 1: 1961, 278pp, numerous b/w line drawings in text and monochrome plate illustrations by J Lockwood Kipling and W H Drake. Glorious colour illustrated dust jacket by Stuart Tresilian. Red cloth-covered boards very slightly rounded at head and heel of spine. Internally bright, crisp and clean. Dust jacket gently rubbed at edges and price-clipped, now in archival-quality clear protector. Vol 2: 1962, 300pp, numerous b/w line drawings in text and monochrome plate illustrations by J Lockwood Kipling and W H Drake. Glorious colour-illustrated dust jacket by Stuart Tresilian. Red cloth-covered boards very slightly rounded at head and heel of spine. Mark on upper edge of text block. Internally a hint of spotting by mostly bright, crisp and clean. Dust jacket mildly chapped at extreme edges with small tear (no loss) on upper leading corner & slightly sunned on spine. 8vo. A really lovely set of these classic works for children. Dust jackets protected in removable, archival quality Mylar wrapper.
