1st edition, 1st impression. 176pp, illustrated with line drawings. In burgundy cloth-covered boards with gilt titles on spine. 8vo. Cloth a little rounded at spine tips, small mark on lower edge. Previous owner's blind embossed stamp on front free endpaper, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. A history of the beautiful city of Norwich, focussing on the influence of the Norman conquerors, the Church and trade through their symbols of power - the Castle, the Cathedral and the Market Place. In its original dust jacket, now protected in an archival-quality Mylar wrapper, fitted without the use of tape of adhesives.
