[1905] 124pp plus publisher's adverts and directory bound in at rear. Red cloth boards, showing drawing of Kirkie White's birthplace (boards a little rubbed and soiled). Nicely produced volume, well-illustrated and chapter end vignettes. Internally some tanning to prelims, and endpaper has corner clipped but else neat, clean, bright and tight. 28 sections on the history of Nottingham covering its first foundation to the end of the 19th century. Section of old photos of the city. My favourite is the chapter entitled 'How Richard Crookback [Richard III] marched from Nottingham to his death on Bosworth Field'. Slim 12mo. 0
