In its original dust jacket, which has a small nick on the spine, else neat and bright. Presented in its original slipcase. The slipcase is a little worn, especially on edges, with just a little spotting and toning to edges. One of the most beloved illustrators of the mid 20th century created a treasure of a little volume, with a charming collection of traditional proverbs and wise old sayings, illuminated with glowing, full colour and sensitive line drawings.
