The special contents of this edition of the classic children's tale, The Jungle Book, are copyright 1950. Green cloth boards with illustration tipped in, decorated spine (boards a little marked, lightly worn around spine joints, minor rubs at extremities). Internally neat, clean, bright and tight barring corner crease on half title page. Previous owner's stamp on half title page. Beautiful edition. Issued by Grosset and Dunlap in 1950 as part of its Illustrated Junior Library series. Was published with slipcase, now absent.
