1st ed, seventh impression. 332pp. In blue cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering on spine. 12mo. Boards slightly rubbed and rounded on corners and spine ends, a little rubbed on joints. Text block edges darkened. . A little spotting on first and last few pages. Previous owner's label on front paste down endpaper, and signs of pencilled notes having been erased on front free endpaper, else internally neat, clean and tight. Sheila Kaye-Smith was a popular English novelist, known for her many novels set in borderland country between Sussex and Kent. We have many Sheila Kaye-Smith titles in stock.
