First published in 1960, this is a seventh impression copy which appears to date from the early 1970s (pre-decimal pricing on the volume has been over-stamped with decimal pricing). In laminated pictorial boards. 4to. Boards have a little shelf wear, a little bumped at spine ends. Central leaves have a thin line of staining at the extreme lower edge, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight.
A very hard to find children's volume with charming pastel-palette illustrations.
