76pp plus 43 plate illustrations of which 12 in full colour. In cream cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering front and spine. 8vo. Cloth soiled at edges, a little rounded at spine tips. Gift inscription, dated 1962, on the front free endpaper; some faint and occasional spotting. In its original, illustrated, dust jacket, bumped on upper edge, lightly rubbed on other edges, a little discoloured and lightly sunned on spine. Constance Spry was one of the guiding hands for the domestic goddesses of the post-war period, her works on flower arranging provide a bible for contemporary taste and style in simple yet stunning arrangements. This title is now very hard to find.
