1st UK edition, first impression (following an earlier Canadian paperback edition). 356pp. In black cloth-covered boards with silver titles on spine. 8vo. Top text block edge a little dust darkened, fore-edge a tad spotted, hint of toning to pages. In its original, not price clipped, dust jacket, very slightly bumped on edges. Dust jacket now protected in an archival-quality Mylar wrapper, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives. A very good copy of this hard to find first edition of Wingfield's second crime fiction novel featuring D I Jack Frost.
