Revised edition. Not dated but c 1880. [3] 68pp (final page is advert for the Art Journal). Green buckram boards with black inked embossed decorations and gilt titles. (Boards a little worn and a few white marks). Lacks front free endpaper, a little tanning. Central signature loose. Copiously illustrated with 50 and more line drawings in text. A comprehensive, if a little twee by modern standards, guide to and history of Haddon Hall in Derbyshire. A wonderful 'snapshot' of how the Hall was and what was known of it, in the late 19th century. Brief section at end on Matlock. 8vo
