Some faint and occasional spotting on text block edges and endpapers only, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Dust jacket worn all over with some chipping on edges and folds, a couple of minor scratches on verso, shelf worn. The first comprehensive account of glass-making in the Weald of Sussex and Surrey. The few forest glasshouses outside the Weald, where anything is known, is also discussed, meaning that the volume deals with much of the forest glass-making industry of England.
