First edition. 240pp, [2]pp blank. Green cloth-covered boards; gilt titles on spine; various black and white illustrations. 8vo. Sun-faded board edges and spine ends, lightly rubbed corners and spine ends. Top text block edge foxing, all edges tanning. Endpapers foxing and tanning. Three previous owner's names on front free endpaper. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Dust jacket has large closed tears, some loss, shelf wear, chipping to edges, not price clipped.
