[1934] 5th printing. Brown cloth boards (edge worn, rounded at corners and spine ends, a few marks, cloth worn through at one point on spine fold)). Lending sheet on front free endpaper, no other library markings. Occasional spotting, toned text block edge. Dusty. In its original worn and edge-nicked dust jacket (chapped on lower edge, chips, spine crease, shelf wear). Dust jacket now in archival-quality mylar wrapper to protect & prolong the life of the jacket. It is not adhered to the book or to the dust jacket. UK edition preceded by US publication in 1933. Classic mystery story featuring that red-headed sleuth, Peter Clancy. Lee Thayer was the pen name of Emma Redington Thayer.
