xvi, 592pp. Six steel-engraving plate illustrations, including frontispiece, by William Rainey. Two colour title page. Bound in deep blue cloth. Book designed by Talwin Morris. Morris's peacock feather designs feature on the front board, spine and rear board of covers. Boards a little rubbed and bumped at corners, and a little worn and rounded at head and heel of spine. Coloured endpapers with some very mild marking. Prelim pages very mildly tanned at edges. Tight, clean, square with fresh and bright pages. 0
