In as new condition throughout barring previous owner's name on half title page. Lavishly illustrated throughout, complete with fold out illustrations (so often missing from second hand copies). All four of the Devonshire Hunting Tapestries are illustrated in full colour, and presented with details of their history, manufacture etc, presenting a vivid picture of the medieval hunt in all its forms - falconry, hunting for otters, boar, bear, deer nd the robbing of a swan's nest.
