Unpaginated but circa 2000 pages. Fully bound in brown calf's leather with gilt titles on spine, blind embossed decorations at edges. Pica Imperial 8vo (approximately 10 by 6.5 by 3.25 inches). Leather is worn with a few mild scuffs, rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends, a little crumbling at base of front joint, rubbed around spine. Text block edges dust darkened. A little spotting on prelims. Extensive manuscript notes on front and rear blank pages, on the Bible and the Kingdom of Israel, in an apparently contemporary hand. Otherwise internally neat, clean and tight. A handsome and imposing volume.
