First Thus. 168pp. Red cloth-covered boards, gilt titles on spine. 8vo. Slightly rubbed spine head, bottom front corner bumped. Top text block edge tanned, all edges foxing. Previous owner's name on front free endpaper. Foxing to front prelims. Otherwise, internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Dust jacket spine faded, has considerable shelf wear, mirrors book damage, not price clipped; interior foxing. The last - and scarcest - volume of Peter Fleming's essays written for The Spectator under the pseudonym of Strix.
