Printed card covers (bright and clean, slightly scuffed at spine ends, lightly bumped at corners). Occasional spotting. In its original dust jacket (occasional chips at edges, sunned around spine). The Britain in Pictures series is a fascinating insight into British social history of the WW2 period. These attractive, slim volumes were produced to be affordable and readable, with the aim of boosting morale and national pride by highlighting elements of national identity which made Britain Great.
