Not dated but c 1940. Reprint. 144pp. Green cloth boards (generally worn, rounded at corners and spine ends, slightly offset). Lending sheet on front free endpaper, no other library markings. Old tape repair in front endpaper gutter and title page. Pages well-thumbed, a little spotting. In its original dust jacket by Taylor (rubbed at edges, chipped at points, minor loss around lower leading corner and spine head, spine crease, shelf wear). Jacket fitted with archival-quality mylar wrapper to protect & prolong its life. It is not adhered to the book or to the jacket. James Hadley Chase was a pen name of RenοΏ½ Lodge Brabazon Raymond. He also wrote under the names James L Docherty, Raymond Marshall, R Raymond and Ambrose Grant. We have many more of his titles in stock.
