Unbound. [4], 6pp, [2], 10 leaves of colour plates, [1], 8-14pp. Plates interleaved with blanks. Title page printed in red and black. Ten chromolithographs of Owen Jones' designs. Folio (approximately 14.5 by 10.5 inches). Sheets have some wear and spotting at edges, the first leaf in particular is heavily spotted and a little discoloured. Some mild toning mostly in margins else neat and clean. Includes appendix: An Account of the New Process, Invented by Mr Richard Prosser of Birmingham, for Forming Various Articles of Ornament and Utility in Earthenware or Porcelain of Very Superior Qualities. Owen Jones was one of the most influential architects and designers of the Victorian era and a pioneer of modern colour theory and a major contributor to the 1851 Great Exhibition (and later its relocation to Crystal Palace).
