Bound in strong green cloth-covered boards, with matching endpapers, tissue-guarded frontis, illustrated and complete with sepia-toned pull out map, which is often missing. Internally square, clean and tight, one fragile gutter with weakening tape repair. Previous owner's name on half title page. Memories and reminiscences of the priest of a rural parish in Cleveland, with sections on local folklore and customs, local history, mannerisms and traditions, natural history etc. A hard to find volume, especially in this condition.
