10pp, apparently extracted from larger bound volume.ย  Approximately 10 by 7.25 inches.ย  Patent Office stamp, dated 1903, at head of first page.ย  Signs of removal from former binding along spine. The patent granted relates to improvements in automobile and horsed fire fire brigade vehicles, chemical engines and fire escapes, namely combining certain apparatus and an improved method of attaching a mobiel fire escape and for charging the cylinder of a chemical fire engine. The patent was filed by J C Merryweather in February 1902 and granted by the Patent Office in January 1903.ย  It includes the complete specification for the innovations and three technical drawings.
