The patent granted relates to an Autombile Fire Engine, namely namely constructing an automobile carrying a fire pump to be driven by the same motor.ย  The patent was filed by J C Merryweather in April 1904 and granted by the Patent Office in March1905 as patent no. 9279.ย  It includes the complete specification for the innovation and technical drawings.
