First impression, first impression.  vi, 216pp, colour plate frontispiece and line drawings in text.  In green cloth-covered boards with black lettering on spine.  Cloth gently rounded on spine ends.  A little faint spotting on text block edges.  Internally neat, clean, bright and tight.  In its original, illustrated dust wrapper, a little bumped especially at edges, short closed tear on rear lower corner leadings to some creasing along lower edge, slightly sunned over spine. Dust wrapper now protected in an archival-quality Mylar sleeve fitted without the use of tape or adhesives. Frank Richards was one of the many pen names of Charles Hamilton (1876-1961), one of the most popular and prolific authors of boy's school stories and long-running series stories featuring recurring characters.  Perhaps best known for the Greyfriars School stories featuring Billy Bunter, he also created St Jim's School starring Tom Merry and Rockwood School, under the pen name Owen Conquest.  We have many Charles Hamilton books in stock and can offer generous discounts to those ordering more than one book at a time - please inquire.
