1861-1882.Β  Complete in four volumes.Β  [xvi], 254pp; [iv], 234pp; [iv], 224pp; [iv] 304, [x] pp, plus 132Β  colour plates illustrating species and varieties of British moths.Β  All four volumes uniformly bound inΒ  strong green buckram cloth-covered boards with gilt moth motif and gilt lettering on spine, substantial blind embossed decorations.Β  8vo.Β  Boards are a little worn, gently rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends, a little sunned over spine.Β  Volume IV has a small nick in cloth on upper edge.Β  Some light foxing and soiling on endpapers.Β  Volume I has one loose signature.Β  Some cracked hinges so slightly shaken.
