A evocative souvenir programme from the Coronation of George VI on 12 May 1937, with period, full page photographs of the Royal Family etc, prayers for the King, an essay on the King's Majesty by John Drinkwater, reflections on George VI's life before becoming King, details of the Coronation procession, with lovely illustrations of the various carriages used and period plan of the six mile route through Westminster, description of the Coronation ceremony and Order of Service at Westminster Abbey and genealogical table. c 11 inches tall.
