vi, 248pp. Blue cloth-covered boards, gilt titles on spine; top text block edge sprayed red, map endpapers. Signed by the author on the half-title page, together with a cartoon drawing of a puppet by the author. 12mo. Sun-faded spine, lightly rubbed corners, rubbed spine ends, boards curling, quite cocked. Top text block edge colour fading, remaining edges tanning. Free endpapers tanning; pages tanning, volume a little loose. Otherwise internally neat and clean.
Walter Wilkinson was a puppeteer, recording his travels around the world as he toured with his puppet show.
