First edition. 288pp, with two monochrome plate illustrations. Red publisher's cloth-covered boards with black and gilt-stamped lettering on the spine. 8vo. Cloth a little worn, gently rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends. Text block edges slightly darkened. Previous owner's inscription on front free endpaper else internally neat and clean. Slightly loosened.
