First edition. xxiv, 540pp, with black and white plate illustrations. Blue cloth-covered boards with gilt motif on upper panel, gilt lettering on spine. Cloth a little marked, gently rubbed and rounded at corner and spine ends. A little light spotting on rear endpapers else internally neat, clean, bright and tight.
