xii, 288pp plus publisher's adverts at rear.ย  Red cloth-covered boards, richly decorated with thistle florals, gilded harp and black and gilt borders, gilt lettering front and spine.ย  Bevelled edges. Top edge gilt. Cream, waxed endpapers.ย  ย 4to.ย  Cloth a little worn and marked, gently rubbed and rounded on corners, more heavily rubbed at ends of a sunned spine.ย  Previous owner's name neatly inked on front free endpaper.ย  Hint of aging to endpapers and page margins.ย  Rear hinge cracked, very slightly loosening rear panel.
