First edition. 350pp, sepia plate frontispiece and further black and white plate illustrations. Blue cloth-covered boards with gilt titles front and spine. Illustrated endpapers. 8vo. Cloth a little tired, rubbed and rounded at corners and spine tips. Text block edges a little toned. Internally neat, clean and tight. In its original dust wrapper, worn, soiled, chapped around edges with some minor loss around corners and spine ends.
