Black publisher's cloth-covered boards, gilt-stamped lettering on the spine. Grey endpapers. 8vo. Volume is neat, clean, bright and tight throughout. In its original dust wrapper, very slightly bumped on edges in places. Not price clipped.
A lovely first edition copy of this Tolkien story, one he regarded as one of the three great tales of the Elder Days.
