First edition, first impression.ย xvi, 340pp, with occasional black and white illustrations, tables, maps, etc.ย Black cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering on the spine. 8vo.ย Cloth a little pushed at spine ends and corners.ย Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original dust wrapper, chapped with some loss along upper edge, bumped and nicked on lower edge, creased on rear inner flap, shelf worn and faded.
