First edition. 158pp,with many black and white illustrations. Laminated, illustrated stiff card covers. 8vo. Very slight edge wear to card covers else neat, clean, bright and tight throughout.
A history of Shoreham Airport (often called Brighton Airport) - with the first flight (by aviator - and artist - Harold H Piffard) from the site in 1910, and an official opening in 1911, it is the oldest airport in Britain and the oldest purpose-built commercial airport still in operation in the world.
