(Covers worn, chipped and discoloured at edges; a few small ink spots on covers and first couple of pages, pages generally well-thumbed but still clean and clear). History and accounts of three of Knaresborough's most famous inhabitants - Mother Skipton, John Metcalfe aka Blind Jack of Knaresborough, and the murderer Eugene Aram; of the latter there is a particularly interesting short section at the end recording local inhabitants' recollections of the man and the events that made him infamous. Slim 12mo.
