First USA edition, third printing.  564pp.  Red cloth-covered boards with green decoration on front panel and spine, blue lettering on the spine.  Top edge sprayed purple.  8vo.  Cloth a little tired, moderately pushed at spine ends.  Spotting and toning on text block edges.  Previous owner's name, dated 1991, on front free endpaper else internally neat, bright, clean and tight.  Original paper dust wrapper, rubbed and chipped on edges, faded and shelf worn.  Dust jacket protected in an archival quality Mylar wrapper fitted without the use of tape or adhesives (please note, we photograph dust jackets before applying the Mylar wrap, to show the full detail of the condition of the wrapper).
