238pp.ย  Bound in full calf leather.ย  12mo. Boards very heavily worn all over, scuffed and chipped, rounded on corners, with some loss at spine base.ย  Toning to text block edges. Lacks both endpapers and last true leaf.ย  Hinges cracked. Previous owner's inscription on front paste down.ย  Faint pencil doodle on title page, extensive pencil marks on rear paste down.ย  Some pages have damage on fore edges (not affecting text).ย  Some loosening and mis-aligned binding.ย  It is no longer a pretty volume but is it a little piece of history regarding the teaching of Greek Grammar at Eton School in the early years of the 19th century.
