First edition, second printing.  376pp, with sketched frontispiece and numerous black and drawings and sketches in text.  Green cloth-covered boards, gilt lettering front and spine. Top edge gilt.  8vo.  Cloth a little tired, gently rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends.  Bookplate from St Mary's Buckfastleigh  on front paste, additional illustration tipped in on front free endpaper.  Previous owner's name. dated 1917, on front free endpaper, gift inscription, dated 1914 opposite half title.  There's some spotting on front endpapers, on text block edges and quite heavily on rear endpapers, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight.
