xvi, 192p. Colour plate frontispiece and seven further colour plates, tissue-guarded, all drawn and hand-coloured by James Andrews. Bound in blue publisher's cloth, blind embossed and stamped, with gilt motif and letterings (worn at edges and rubbed at rounded corners and spine tips, rubbed along spine joints). All edges gilt. Front free endpaper absent, internally neat, clean and bright. Magnificent, hand-coloured plates, all present as called for, of flowering plants.
