First edition, first impression.  Signed by Jack Higgins on a pictorial bookplate on the title page (bookplate has a photograph of Higgins).  250pp.  Black cloth-covered boards, gilt-stamped lettering on the spine. Maps on endpapers. 8vo.  Cloth a little pushed at spine ends, hint of dustiness to top text block edge, else neat, clean, bright and tight throughout.  In its original dust wrapper, bumped along upper edge and at spine heel, slightly shelf worn.  Dust jacket now protected in an archival quality Mylar wrapper fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.
